I am Aarti Mehta. I am based in New York City and want to submit a research article. I would like to know if my article would fit your journal well. It is called ‘The Future of Open Streets in New York City’. Also, I wanted to know if the Journal follows a peer-review process.

For your reference the following is a short description of my article:
The COVID-19 pandemic prompted the rapid transformation of New York City’s streets
in 2020, leading to the implementation of the “Open Streets” program by the Department of
Transportation (DOT). This initiative provided residents additional space for walking, biking,
dining, and socializing in response to indoor activity restrictions. While successful Open Streets
have enhanced community engagement and public health, many have faced challenges. Through
discussions with stakeholders and research into similar programs, three critical areas for improvement
have emerged: equity, vision, and maintenance. As NYC evolves, there is a need for DOT to
reassess the Open Streets program and develop a more inclusive and practical approach that meets
the diverse needs of communities today.

Also, may I know the process and guidelines for obtaining permission from the third party? I am not the only author. A government agency has also contributed to the article.

I am an editor of IJCT. This email is for a new journal proposal of mine for STM Journals with the title of “Green and Low Carbon Structures and Materials”. I want to publish it with you. Why this new journal? Because the world, especially the European Union, has begun to set up “net zero cities” and many government/private institutions or organisations or agencies support investigating new low carbon materials and technologies for structures. For example, the objectives of the Mission of EU are to achieve 100 climate-neutral and smart European cities by 2030 and to ensure that these cities act as experimentation and innovation hubs to enable all European cities to follow suit by 2050. Horizon 2020 was the EU’s research and innovation funding programme from 2014-2020 with a budget of nearly €80 billion. Horizon 2030 is the same as Horizon 2020 and many researchers have begun to work on this topic in the civil engineering area. 

In this way, I started in 2023 to investigate modular structures and my team developed a unit element for sustainable net zero structures/modular structures, and won an award for being the 2nd in the national 2nd R&D Project Competition in Turkey.

At this point, I also have so many high impact papers on sustainable materials on recycled aggregate concrete, geopolymer etc. Also some of them were published in IJCT in STM Journals.Dear Editor, I want to contribute to STM Journals with the mentioned new journal with the title of “Green and Low Carbon Structures and Materials”.Accordingly, the topic is hot and many papers can be published in the proposed journal. Thus, the journal can be indexed in Scopus, and not only in E-SCI and but also in SCI-E.I am ready to work with the mentioned journal.

On the other hand, I have many research groups/colleagues and I can advertise the journal also.Other technical details (editors, journal info, etc.) can be needed and I will support you with my colleagues/teammates. 
I can find possible editorial board members who have academic qualifications in their area.
