My Biography

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Dayang Siti Hazimmah binti More Ali is an Associate Professor at the School of Engineering and Technology, University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), Malaysia. She has more than 20 years of academic experience in teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, academic leadership, and quality assurance. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering and specialises in Materials Engineering, Construction Materials, sustainable cementitious materials, polymer-modified concrete, composite and bio-based materials, material characterisation, durability, and advanced sustainable materials. Her research focuses on developing innovative and environmentally sustainable engineering materials, including natural-fibre composites, recycled and waste-derived construction materials, and advanced cement-based materials. She has served as a research grant reviewer, manuscript reviewer, postgraduate examiner, research committee member, and academic leader. Her professional experience also includes engineering programme accreditation, curriculum development, and ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory quality management. I am a computer engineer and working in a public sector university as Professor/ Research director Read More in Pakistan. I obtained B.E. degree in Computer Systems Engineering, and M.E. in Communication System and Networks from Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Pakistan in 2004, and 2014 respectively. In 2020, I secured Ph.D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Hohai University China. My expertise includes computer architecture, wireless communication, robotics and control, signal processing, grid and distributed computing, computer hardware and networks, Deep learning, artificial intelligence, machine learning, neuro-fuzzy systems, Solid state devices, Data mining, and web applications. Currently, I am an Associate Editor of more than 5 International SCI research journals including IEEE, MDPI, Hindawi, Springer, and Elsevier. In addition, acting as peer reviewer of more than 50 international journals and conference proceedings. I’d like to offer my services as a volunteer Editor and Peer reviewer.
