My Biography

I am Dr. M. E. Pavithra, an academician and More researcher with over 14 years of teaching and research experience in Medical Microbiology. I hold a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from Bharathiar University, specializing in nanoparticle-incorporated polymeric membranes for antimicrobial therapies.
My research focuses on medical microbiology, nanotechnology, antimicrobial therapies, polymeric biomaterials, targeted drug delivery, environmental microbiology, biodegradation, and biosorption. I have published 18+ research articles in internationally indexed journals (Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley), authored a book chapter, and recently published the book Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering.
I hold multiple utility and design patents and serve as a reviewer for leading publishers, including Elsevier, Springer, Bentham Sciences, and Wolters Kluwer. I also serve as an NPTEL SPOC, IIC-IPR Coordinator, University Examiner, and research mentor**. My contributions have been recognized with the Best Ph.D. Thesis Award, Research Excellence Award, Active and Aspirant NPTEL SPOC Awards, and Best Poster Award. I am dedicated to advancing translational research, fostering innovation, and mentoring future researchers.
